🗑️ Delete a room

There are two ways to delete a case room, depending on your access level.

If you’re an organization manager

  1. Log into the Admin Portal

  2. Navigate to Chatrooms

  3. Click the Active tab

  4. Search for the room name

  5. Select the room to open the details panel

  6. Click Close Chatroom to delete/archive it

🛑 Note: Only users with Organization Manager permissions can delete rooms from the Admin Portal.


If you’re a basic user

  1. Log into the OmniLife Web App

  2. Open the Cases module

  3. Select the case to view the case details

  4. Click Rooms

  5. Select the room you want to delete

  6. Click the “i” (Info) icon in the top right

  7. Select Delete Room

If this option doesn’t work for your role, follow the steps below.


Workaround: Remove a follower group room by clearing users

  1. Log into the OmniLife Web App

  2. Go to the Cases module

  3. Open the case with the room you want to delete

  4. Tap Permissions

  5. Scroll to find the follower group linked to the room

  6. Click the name of the follower group to open the follower details and

  7. Toggle the details to People, and click the "X" next to each person to remove them from the group remove users

  8. Tap Save in the top right corner

  9. Go back to the case Permissions screen

  10. At the bottom, find the room again and tap the “X” icon next to the follower group to remove access

You can remove the room once there are no longer any users associated with it.
