Delivery Methods
Each notification type can be delivered using one or more methods.
Method | Description |
Push | Notification shown on your mobile device or web browser |
SMS | Text message sent to your mobile phone |
Email notification |
You may enable one, multiple, or all delivery methods.
Push Notifications
Push notifications appear as alerts on your device.
On mobile, they appear as system notifications
On web, they appear as browser notifications if enabled
Push notifications follow your device or browser settings. If notifications are disabled at the device or browser level, FlowHawk notifications will not appear.
Notification Sounds
iPhone (iOS)
You can select notification sounds directly within FlowHawk.
Android
Notification sounds are controlled by your device. Depending on your device and Android version, you may be able to customize sounds through system settings.
Override Do Not Disturb
Each notification type includes an Ignore FlowHawk Do Not Disturb option.
When enabled, that notification will still be delivered even if:
FlowHawk's Do Not Disturb is enabled
The room is muted
This does not override your device’s notification settings.
Do Not Disturb and Muted Rooms
FlowHawk Do Not Disturb
Pauses notifications across all rooms and cases.
You will still receive:
High-priority messages
@‑mentions
Re‑sent notifications
These notifications are always delivered to ensure important updates are not missed.
Muted Rooms
Muting a room prevents notifications from that room only.
Other rooms and case notifications continue normally
Do Not Disturb Duration Options
1 hour
8 hours
12 hours
Until I turn it back on
Custom (enter a date and time)
Notification Links
Notifications include a direct link which takes you to the room that generated the notification.
