Guidance for Case Admins on adding users as Case Followers, with steps to assign the appropriate permissions for effective collaboration.

Case Admins have full access to all case information and settings. Additional users can be added as Case Followers, who are placed into Follower Groups. Each group has specific permissions that control what information they can view or edit within the case.

How to add a user to a room

  1. Navigate to https://messages.omnilife.io/chat and log in. From Cases, click on a case name to open the side panel and view the case details.

  2. In the side panel, click "Permissions".

  3. Under Case Followers, you'll see as list of Follower Groups. Click on the group name you wish to add the user to.

  4. Click "People" then "Add people."

  5. Use the search bar to quickly locate the user, then click "+" to add a user.

  6. Click "+ Add 1 person", then "Save" to save your changes.

  7. If the user has notifications enabled, they will receive a notification letting them know they have been added to a case!
