1. Optimize filters to speed up load times

Old or irrelevant rooms and cases can slow down the app. Use filters to show only what you need:

  • Rooms module: Tap the filter icon → Select "Hide closed cases"

  • Cases module: Tap the filter icon → Select "Open cases"

💡 Want to save your filter settings?

  1. Log in

  2. Set your filters

  3. Log out Your settings will be saved for next time!

👉 Tip: Close old cases to keep the app fast-your data is still saved and accessible.

2. Refresh the browser often (web users)

After 30 minutes of inactivity, you may get logged out or see connectivity issues. Refresh your browser or log back in regularly to stay connected.

3. Keep everything up to date

4. Enable FaceID, contacts, and notifications

Make sure OmniLife has the permissions it needs:

  • Notifications
    Mobile | Web

  • FaceID (biometric login)
If FaceID is missing, check your phone settings. Still not working? Delete and reinstall the app

  • Contacts
Grant access in your phone settings to invite team members and search within your org

5. Reset the app to fix performance issues

Having trouble with slow loads or notifications?

  • Mobile:
    More → Settings → Reset Application → Log out → Close app → Re-open & log in
    (Data won’t be lost)

  • Web:
Log out → Clear browser cache:
Chrome | Safari | Microsoft Edge

6. Change your default notification sound (iOS)

Need a louder alert? Go to: More → Settings → Notification Sound
🔥 Top pick: "Fire Pager"

7. Check your phone's native notification settings

📱 iOS (iPhone)

  1. Open your phone's Settings Apps

  2. Scroll to OmniLife

  3. Tap Notifications

  4. Ensure Allow Notifications is turned on

🤖 Android

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap Apps or Apps & notifications.

  3. Select OmniLife from the app list.

  4. Tap Notifications.

  5. Ensure notifications are toggled ON

Note for Android users: It is important to note that if you force quit the app on Android, you will not receive notifications. This is a common behavior for all Android apps, to ensure you receive notifications, make sure to keep the app running in the background.

8. Still having issues? Delete and reinstall the app

If FaceID, notifications, or contact access still aren’t working, delete and reinstall the app. You’ll be prompted again to enable all permissions-this often fixes setup issues.
