πŸ” Best practices for case handoffs

Tips for case admins to ensure smooth, error-free handoffs during shift changes.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Shift changes are a critical moment in any case. FlowHawk helps reduce the chaos that can come from juggling emails, texts, and phone calls. But even with a solid platform, handoffs can fall short if key details are missed.

Here’s how to make sure your case transitions go smoothly.

βœ… Add admins to the case

Before a handoff, make sure the incoming coordinator is added as an admin on the case. Admins have full access and can join all Follower Group Rooms, which ensures they see everything they need.

πŸ‘₯ Join follower groups as an admin

Once added as an admin, you’ll automatically have visibility into all existing Follower Groups.

To join a group and access conversations:

  1. Open the case and go to Permissions.

  2. Scroll to Case Followers at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Click the Follower Group you want to join.

  4. On the Follower Details page, select People.

  5. Click Join Group.

After joining, you’ll have access to all historical conversations in that room - including messages, files, and system updates.
