✏️Modify an existing workflow template

Make changes to an existing workflow template to reflect updated processes, improve clarity, or meet new requirements.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Updating a workflow template helps your team stay aligned with current practices without starting over. You can revise task details, add or remove fields, and adjust default follower group settings for newly created cases.

📝Edit an Existing Workflow

Step 1: Access the Workflow Builder

  • From the Workflow Builder, click Modify Workflow

  • Select the name of the existing workflow

  • Click Modify Template

Step 2: Edit Workflow Components

You can update the following components:

  • Tasks: Rename, reorder, or remove tasks.

  • Fields: Add new fields, adjust labels, or remove outdated ones.

  • Default Follower Groups: Modify access settings for newly created cases.

  • Field Mapping: Make changes to Donor PDF or Analytics mapping.

💡 Tip: Changes to a workflow template only apply to new cases created after the update. Existing cases will retain their original structure.
