🧰 Unable to save a workflow

If you’re having trouble saving updates to a workflow in the Workflow Builder, here are a few quick steps to identify and resolve the issue.

Updated over 2 months ago

Check each task in the workflow and look for:

  • Unnamed fields

  • Picker or Select fields with no options added

To fix the error:

  1. Make sure all Picker or Select fields have at least one option defined.

  2. Remove any fields that are blank or don’t have a name.

If these options are missing, the system may:

  • Gray out the "Update Workflow" button.

  • Display an error message indicating your workflow failed to update.

What to do

  1. Review each field in the task you're editing.

  2. Check for any fields that require options, and make sure you've added at least one.

  3. Remove fields that do not have a name.

  4. Try saving again once all required data is entered.

Once everything is filled in correctly, try saving the workflow again.
