Common issue: Missing options for fields

The most common cause for save issues is when certain field types, like Select or Picker, are missing required options.

For example:

  • A Select field requires you to define at least one selectable option before saving.

  • A Picker must have its items configured properly or the task won’t save.

If these options are missing, the system may:

  • Gray out the "Update Workflow" button.

  • Display an error message indicating your workflow failed to update.

What to do

  1. Review each field in the task you're editing.

  2. Check for any fields that require options, and make sure you've added at least one.

  3. Try saving again once all required data is entered.
