Enable Browser Notifications: Firefox

This guide addresses common issues, including permission settings and browser prompts, for enabling push notifications in Firefox.

Allow Browser Notifications

  1. Once you've enabled the notifications in your account settings, first try to refresh your page, and approve any pop ups to receive push notifications. OmniLife Web will ask you to click "Okay".

2. Additionally, you may need to click "Allow" when your browser asks for permission.

3. If you're still seeing permission denied, Firefox has a few more places to check.

Review Site Information and Browser Settings

  1. Navigate to messages.omnilife.io. In the address bar, click on the padlock to open the Site Information.

  2. From the menu, click "Connection secure" to display more options.

  3. From the drop-down menu, click "More information."

  4. From here, the Page Info will display in a pop up box. Click "Permissions."

  5. In the Permissions section, scroll down to Send notifications and click "Allow."

  6. Click the "X" to close the Page Info.

  7. Lastly, let's go to the three bars in the top right to Open the application menu.

  8. From the drop-down menu, select "Settings".

  9. From the panel on the left side of your screen, click "Privacy & Security".

  10. Under the Permissions, click "Settings."

  11. The Notification Permissions will be listed for all sites you have visited. From here, click into the Status, and select "Allow."

  12. Click "Save Changes" to begin receiving notification.

Now you should be able to receive push notifications in Firefox!
